Ferdi Gül is the Vulnerability Research Strategist at Black Kite, where he bridges the gap between raw technical exploits and organizational risk management. Working closely with the Chief Research and Intelligence Officer, Ferdi leads the strategic development of FocusTag® , translating complex vulnerability data into actionable insights for Third-Party Cyber Risk Management (TPCRM) across all sectors.

Ferdi holds a Master’s degree in Information Security Engineering from Marmara University and brings a deep technical background from his previous tenure as a cybersecurity researcher at TÜBİTAK. As the primary author of the "Focus Friday" series, he is a leading voice in explaining how systemic vulnerabilities impact global supply chains. His expertise ensures that leaders and practitioners alike can quantify the risk of critical vulnerabilities and prioritize remediation based on real-world exploitability, rather than just a CVSS score.
