Working in close collaboration with Dr. Ferhat Dikbiyik, Ekrem specializes in decoding the operational shifts of ransomware-as-a-service (RaaS) groups and the evolution of the "hacker mindset."

With a background in Computer Engineering from Sakarya University and deep expertise in cyber threat intelligence (CTI), Ekrem’s research is instrumental in identifying emerging attack vectors before they impact the enterprise. His work provides the technical foundation for Black Kite’s Ransomware Susceptibility Index® analysis, helping organizations transition from reactive patching to proactive defense.
