Open FAIR™ Methodology

Open FAIR™ is the publicly available version of the Factor Analysis of Information Risk standard, maintained by The Open Group as an international standard for cyber risk quantification. It provides a taxonomy and measurement model for analyzing and quantifying information risk in financial terms. Black Kite's Financial Impact Rating is built on Open FAIR™, making its risk quantification methodology transparent, standards-based, and independently verifiable rather than a proprietary black box.
