A vendor ecosystem is the specific set of third-party relationships an organization actively manages, the vendors under contract, the data flows between them, and the risk each introduces. Where cyber ecosystem describes the full interconnected digital world, a vendor ecosystem is the slice of it your organization is directly responsible for assessing, monitoring, and governing.
