Country Risk
Country risk is the risk arising from the geographic location of a vendor or supplier, encompassing factors such as geopolitical instability, conflict, sanctions regimes, natural disaster exposure, and the regulatory environment of the vendor's operating jurisdiction. Black Kite incorporates geopolitical mapping and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) data into its risk assessments, enabling organizations to identify and monitor country-level risk across their vendor portfolio.
