OSINT (Open Source Intelligence)
Open Source Intelligence is publicly available information gathered from internet-wide scanners, DNS records, web archives, dark web forums, hacker forums, and other open sources. It is the foundation of outside-in vendor risk assessment, enabling security teams to evaluate a vendor's exposure without direct access to their systems. Black Kite's data lake is continuously updated by a network of collectors, crawlers, and honeypots aggregating Open Source Intelligence at scale.
