Executive Summary

The BK-GA³™ AI assessment framework was developed to provide the cybersecurity community with an open standard for assessing AI risk, both within their own organizations and across their partner and supplier networks. This framework was designed to address the significant overlap found across existing frameworks while incorporating cutting-edge threat research from the Black Kite Research Group - a team dedicated to identifying and analyzing novel threats and trends.

In the development of BK-GA³™, hundreds of unique requirements across over 50 risk assessment frameworks were evaluated. Further, to ensure its ongoing relevance in a constantly changing threat landscape, the BK-GA³™ working committee meets quarterly to evolve the framework in line with global standards updates and the latest threat techniques observed in the wild.

Collaborators

The BK-GA³™ AI assessment framework was developed by the Black Kite Research Group and in consultation with Shared Assessments LLC, the member-driven leader in third party risk assurance.
